EXCLUSIVE FROM UBISOFT: CHARACTER BIO
JamesCameronOnline.com

In-depth Character Bio: Beyda’amo

It is said that, long ago, the Na’vi Clans warred against each other in brutal and bloody conflicts. Such a great deal of time has passed since those dark times that violence is almost unknown to Pandora’s peaceful inhabitants.

Before the arrival of the “Sky People,” Beyda’amo was revered for his natural leadership skills and hunting prowess. A master of the sacred art of Banshee riding, Beyda’amo is equally at home soaring through Pandora’s skies or prowling among its poisonous flora.

These qualities, which perfectly exemplify the unity of the Na’vi place within Pandora’s rich ecology, have put Beyda’amo on the path of leadership. Groomed to be the Tipani Clan’s next Olo’eyktan, a male chieftain second only to the matriarchal Tsahik, he wields a great deal of influence over his people.

Though Beyda’amo initially welcomed the “Sky People” and attempted to learn their ways and language, he quickly discovered that they were not to be trusted and grew to despise them and their alien ways. His anger with the humans is not without cause. It is rooted in a tragic event in which Beyda’amo’s own child was nearly killed at the hands of RDA troopers. Scarred by the memory of his brush with the humans’ callous behavior and blatant disregard for the sanctity of Pandora’s delicate ecological harmony, Beyda’amo’s ire festers within him.

Now, with the growing number of betrayals perpetrated by the vicious human invaders, Beyda’amo has awakened to the forgotten bloodlust of his forbearers. An ancient ferocity seethes within his veins and he seeks no less than to tear the throat out of this human incursion. Wearing his hunting scars as a badge of honor, Beyda’amo is anxious to unleash the fury of Pandora against these arrogant would-be conquerors and cleanse his home of their virulent taint.
